Danny Trosset
President and Executive Director
Danny Trosset
Danny@sports4thekids.orgDanny was born and raised in Central Florida, and graduated high school from Bishop Moore where he played baseball. He graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Sports Management and Business Administration. After college, he worked for 3 years at the Central Florida Sports Commission bringing and hosting sporting events into the Central Florida area then in 2008 he took the job to be the Sales and Sports Marketing Manager of the Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Danny currently serves as the Director of Sports Tourism for Seminole County where he currently works today and is in charge of the sales efforts to help bring more visitors, groups, and sporting events into Seminole County.
Growing up as a kid, Danny always played sports. From playing sports as a child to studying Sports Management in College, to now working in the sports events industry- sports has always been his passion and focus throughout his life.
In 2008 he witnessed more children experiencing homelessness due to the struggling economy. He saw many of these children here in our community not given the opportunity to participate in sports because of the cost. No child should be denied an opportunity to participate in sports because he/she cannot afford to pay for the equipment, registration fees, and he was determined to do something about this.
Because of this reason, Sports 4 The Kids was created. Over the years, we have made great partnerships throughout the Central Florida community and have helped provide an opportunity to serve several children in need by providing these children with a chance to participate in sports.
As Founder and President of Sports 4 the Kids, Danny’s primary goal is to develop, operate and manage a successful non-profit organization that over the years will serve thousands of children in need throughout Central Florida by giving these children a chance to participate in a sports program of their choice. His bigger vision is to eventually help other communities around the world develop Sports 4 the Kids programs for their youth population within their respective communities to have a greater impact on the number of children we can help. Every child deserves a chance to participate, and it is the mission of Sports 4 the Kids to ensure that we are giving our children within our community that chance to participate.

Through participation in team sports, Matt feels he learned about accountability, discipline, working well in a team setting, and the ability to not just accept criticism, but apply the teaching points of his coaches and teammates. Matt feels these are invaluable skills that won't necessarily be taught just in a classroom setting. This is why Matt feels the mission of Sports 4 The Kids is so important. info@sports4thekids.orgI’m Tumas Williams. I’m originally from Nashville, TN. I’ve played football for the majority of my life, which lead me to Stetson University back in 2015. I was recruited to play ball for the Hatters. During my time at Stetson, I joined a community-based organization called the Bonner Program. Through the program, I was able to advocate for health & fitness as well as spread the importance of nutrition to kids within the local DeLand community centers. I graduated from Stetson University in 2019. Now I’m working in IT Sales within the Lake Mary area. I strive to grow every day. From my time being out of school I’ve learned that finding a solution to any problem is your perspective. I believe in Sport 4 The Kids, because it provides an opportunity for kids to pursue what they enjoy without worrying about financial barriers holding them back.
