Scholarships

Sports 4 the Kids scholarships are granted to 5 to 18-year-old children for all programs that support the S4TK mission to give every child a chance to participate. If the program of interest is not on the application, please email scholarships@sports4thekids.org with program information so that our team may contact the director or coach to determine a plan to support your child.

Eligibility is based on meeting the scholarship requirements stated in the application and/or other extenuating family circumstances. Scholarship funding is limited based on available funds.

Please allow up to two weeks for our Sports 4 The Kids Team to review your application. We will contact you via Email after your application has been reviewed by the S4TK Scholarship Committee. Our team will try to help as many children as we possibly can, but we may not be able to assist due to limited funding. Please be patient and know that we will try our best to accommodate every request in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  • Family of children must be considered a family in need by Seminole, Orange, Lake, or other county public school systems within central Florida.
  • Children are registered with the school’s Free and Reduced Meal Benefits Program.
  • S4TK Scholarship Application is completed by the deadline provided by the program or coach (usually 2 weeks prior to the team registration deadline per season).
  • GOALS 4 THE KIDS PROGRAM is implemented by the Program Provider team and child.
  • Submit S4TK SPOTLIGHT form to be highlighted as a S4TK athlete on our SPOTLIGHT PAGE.

Scholarship Submission deadlines: Spring: March 1 Fall: August 25th

On the application link, the family will choose one of the following options to ensure they are filling out the appropriate county or special scholarship application:

  1. Sports 4 the Kids Seminole County Sports Scholarship
  2. Sports 4 the Kids-RIPITT Orange County Sports Scholarship
  3. Sports 4 the Kids-RIPITT Lake County Sports Scholarship
  4. Sports 4 the Kids Volusia County Sports Scholarship
  5. Nina Karlinsky Soccer Scholarship (2 scholarships granted/year)
  6. Raymond Caraballo Seminole High School Football Scholarship
  7. Sam Shaw Sports Scholarship (2 lacrosse scholarships granted each year for youth athletes in Stuart, FL)
  8. Anna Kathryne Proctor Volleyball Scholarship (3-4 volleyball scholarships granted each year in Central Florida)
